It is truely amazing how IGAD was turned from an regional organisation preoccupied with drought in Horn of Africa into a full fledged economic/political/military regional organisation which is under domination of Addis Abebba, and is used by Western actors to get things done in Horn of Africa, whether those ''things'' are setting up a company to exploit resources, or stationing ''peacekeeping troops'' to remove an undesired regime or group from power.

And all this transformation occurred between 1992-1996, the period Somalia only existed on maps and in the minds as a country.

All I did was to state an observation of the transformation of the IGADD organisation, which went from one preoccupied with mainly fighting drought in the Horn of Africa to a full-fledged regional organisation preoccupied with political, economical and military affaires.

what does ethiopia have to do with it because ethiopia invaded somalia and igad supports it right. bulshit ka meel dona you probably never heard of igad before they created the somali government.
