Apart from worshipping Allah what else would you like to achieve in Life? What would you like to do 10-20 years from now inshallah.

I want to set up the first Somali Investment Bank and a Business trust. The business trust will help poor people get into business by providing them with facilities to make money from and goods to sell. They will receive some of the proceeds and the rest will be used to invest in other projects. I know this requires a lot of capital but I do believe that it is financially feasible for me to pursue inshallah

your so far away from your 'plan' that I'm not even gonna spare you a good luck. Do you even know what an investment bank is and how it functions? or even a 'business trust' for that matter. In 10-12 yrs you'll become a sheep and sheep get slaughtered so look forward to becoming an Executive Steak.

Very ambitious maybe you should do the micro loans like the grimean bank in Bangladesh to start with giving loans to the poor to start up in business. I think it would work well in Somaliland/Somalia

Who are you?? Investment Banking is part of my degree discipline. I also did a internship with Credit Suisse last summer and I don't feel the need to define what a investment bank is to you.

similiar to the one my grand father had in ethiopia
before he come to somalia.

Somalia lacks educated people, my advice to you is make your dream a reality and don't give up. I'm sure there are many people who will appreciate it back home.

I would further add, even if people steal your idea as some insecure people suggest just remember all businesses need blueprint and what exactly that blueprint is only you have the knowledge for it, so as long as you have a plan before hand you are alright man.

As for me I'm thinking of picking up where my dad left off in Somalia insha-allah, he was into real estate.
