Why do we trust these so called Imaams and try to protect them when someone accused them something? I'm sure there are some good imaams but as many of you already know, we also got the bad fake and liers imaams.

What have those bad fake and liers imaams done?

like child molesters...........heard the mother oo wiilkeeda dugsi geesay and the imaan start doing the kid while the mother was qolka kale.......and when the mother heard her son scream she said to him, waryaa wadaadka dhageeso

there are also some other imaams that were protected because they didn't want the GAAL to deal with them.

Maybe you're confusing those imaams with Catholic priests.

Somalis put to much trust into imaams. Be careful. Don't let your kids be alone with those men. Always know what type of men (teachers/imaams/baseball coach etc) are in your son's lives. You never know if these sick individuals are molesting them.

No, I've never seen them or even heard of them. However, we have to realize that there are good and bad people every where. You must ALWAYS protect your kids and not put too much trust into people. There are sick individuals out there and you never know where to find them.

i think somali imams are to be trusted in most cases, but be aware of ajanabi ones

BTW I have met perverts who masquerade as 'quran teachers' ..nasty men indeed. Imams are not infallible..Allah s.w.t tells us in the Qur'an about the characteritics of the people we should entrust our holy places with.

Maybe there are a few such imaams in the West, not in Muslim countries. I have never heard of or read about such imaams in Muslim countries, especially in Somalia. I believe it's safe to trust imaams in Muslim countries, especially Somali imaams.

Don't be so naive! protect your kids and don't trust someone for just being a somali. I agree it is not as prevelant as it is other non muslim societies but Somalis are human and have peodophiles, rapists, homosexuals and murderers and yes they can pretend to be a wadaad

Only seculars can become pedophiles, rapists, homo####uals, etc-- not wadaads (conservatives).
