Walaal, I know of some Somali men who have wives in qurbaha, but yet go to Somalia in order to marry a second wife, and then they leave the second wife there only to visit her once every 6 months. Why would he want her to stay in Somalia? Is it because it's more convenient that way? I can't figure it out. So Somali men are merciless too then? In my mind, they're both wrong, unless they have a legitimate reason for their actions & aren't just doing it just to satisfy their own interest.
