To the Right Wing Group in here Come In?

Postby King-of-Awdal » Sun Jun 08, 2008 6:44 pm

I have one question. Say Al Shabab wins the War, how do they elect a president. I believe in everyone to vote for a president that is the entire nation and every citizen. So how will that work? :? Also dont tell me about dividing seats along clan lines cause thats barbaric and un civilized? I will be eagerly waiting on especially shiribs input. :?

But than doesnt that debunk the whole idea of Al Shabab of not being a clan entity? If thats how its going to be doesnt that mean they are back again to square one.

According to alshabaab Law( the Sunnah) The president whom they call amiril Mu'miniin is appointed by the The parliament or Majlizul Shurah. 13 Members of the Majlis are locked in a room and protected from interacted from the outside world to appoint the amiir. The Amir will rule forever until he dies unless he can't fulfil his duties due to like sickness. The puzzling thing is that There is no written way to choose the shurah. their appointment can be based on knowledge, clan leadership or xikmah. I think if alshabaab wins, Their current amiir ( ibrahim afghani aka abu zubeir would be the president. Since he is from somaliland, he would unite somalia then. but remember he is on $3,000,000 capture or kill FBI warrenty but would alshabaab care about that?

Regardless of which tribe dominates it, Alshabaab amir's qualification is Jihaad experience which includes training in Afghanistan just like their current amiir. There was only one habargidir guy in alshabaab chain of command and he got assessinated. here is their chain of command.

1. President abu-zubeir ibrahim afghani- Isaaq
2. Training co-ordinator- xassan Turkey-Ogaden
3. Secretary of Informatin- Abu mansuur- digil and mirifle
4. Macalin xaashi Faarax Shabelle region commander- abgaal
5. Hiiraan Unit Commander - Gen Suleyman- Gaaljecel
6. Unit Commander -central somalia- Fuad Muxamad Khalaf-Ortoble

they are not chosen because of their qabiils. They are chosen do to merit and qualification based on milatary skills. Alshabaab is different from the rest of somalia.

So your ok with 13 people speaking for 8 million people. Why not have an election and may the best man win.
