I agree that it is a postive step

Walahi it simply burns my heart to see the biggest traitor live while so many patriotic somalis have given their lives.

In 2009, AY must be removed from any post in somali's new Government and be taken to court for treason with he's fellow warlords.

I guess for now, we must make peace just to get the ethiopians out.

Dealing with traitors has to be put on hold.

How can you expect the UN to come when they can't even get troops for "OMG ITS GENOCIDE, STOP IT NOW" campaign of the West for Darfur?

The Ethiopians are there to stay in Benadir.

This is what you call a president, one that was not afraid of he's own people and never hid in an ethiopian tank and wacthed the filthy habesh slaughter he's own people and captures he's country and once in a while slap him around

sxb, the only think we can do is be optimistic that this peace accord will happen even if the likelihood is slim at best. What I don't understand is these people are not even willing to give it a chance, and as the author of article appropriately put most of these anti peace advocates are 'diaspora based resistance groups' who have no idea what the fighting is doing to people on the ground. Sh Sharif has broad based support and he's a man most somalis can trust, if he supports this then everyone should.

The problem is the al shabab and hassan aweys who would rather wage some imaginary jihad even if it means 100's of innocent people will die.

Rebellion walahi personally i dont care who rules Somalia... The things i care about are:

A free Somalia, free from foreign influence especially Ethiopia..

A secular free Somalia.. If not sharia at least in a position where the people have the choice to vote on it..

A United Somalia and a leader that can unite all somalia from Xamar to somaliland and puntland..

Nah, I don't agree with their editorials, except for one that talked about local governance.

Read my post, this agreement is nothing.
