because independence has nothing to do with the last 20 focking years of bullshid, certainly not the last 18 months...which are only part of the history. Independence is about the men and woman who fought for the self determination of Somalis before and after the second world war and they should be examples for Somalis to go by.

Or how about we work towards something we can actually celebrate? Remembering the past is nice but we're kinda overlooking the real issues here, I honestly would not support anyone to celebrate this, its as if you guys are trying to escape the reality of things.
