Is Jeff Peterson a Jewish name? I had a call conference a little while ago with a guy with such name and he was totally out of line asking about my diin and all sorts of personal info.
Usually I don't mind grilling but this fella really got me worked up and I was tempted to hurl insults at him walahi. How do you guys handle awkward situations like that?
I plan to call him tomorrow morning and sort it out but in mean time would like to know if he's a kosher creep? Should I complain to his supervisors, after all I am the client here.

Actually it was the tone of his suggestions. I sensed contempt in his questioning. He obviously was suggesting a Muslim shouldn't be in this field and obviously stated by asking regulatory questions beyond his trading desk. Anyways, maybe I am wrong about him and will call him tomorrow to follow up and further guage him.

Very unprofessional. I would never dare to pose such a personal question to my clients.
I would have told him on the spot how unprofessional he was being and that if he wanted to know about my religion, perhaps he should go to the Chapter and grab a book. You there to do business and it should be left at that.
I would also consider changing this person to either a different representitive or a different company all together.

Do not call Him brother. Your Muslim and the Guy is either Cristian or Jewish. You will be terminated from Your job for being a suspected terrorist or for causing too much trouble. We have have no rights so don't act like You do. You just have to take it.
