I know long way to go, but do you guys think about Retirement.....Money Entitlements

do you have Supper..?
what is your plan when you retire?
what are you going to do with your money?

Every once in a while I visit the social security website which has a calculator. It lets you feed in information about your yearly income or an estimate, how long you will work and what year you want to retire, I always set at 55 as my retiring age, too long to wait but I am impatient. I then get a letter through the mail telling me about the amount of money I will be getting. Now I am locked at $2,000 dollars a month should I retire at that age. The estimated income will go up as years go by and I keep a full time job. The more tax I pay, the more money I make, the bigger the check.

I am off then to some african paradise buying a whole village and start a marrying spree with my riches at that age The money can be collected through the US embassies around the world. Iit doesn't matter where I live, I get my money sent through the Embassy since I worked for it.

I often think about retiring, unfortunately i can't do that just yet but i'd like to do it before the official retirement age. As for saving, yes i do both personally and with the company i work for. I'm quite lucky as the company offers things like pension schemes, different saving schemes, free shares etc. Hopefully this will all add up to a decent amount, and i can retire somewhere nice and don't have to worry about money. And i'll invest in properties as this brings in good money and will benefit not only me but also inshallah my future children.

I save so i don't have to depend on the money given from the goverment when i'm old. I'd inshallah like to live a very comfortable life.

I was wrong as you can see from the chart, the minimum retirement age is 57 if you were born after 1970s.

I will use my retirement money as sustenance while I do community work after retiring in Somalia inshallah. My plan is to transfer my Knowledge to the young somali generation and prepare them for the future. I don't want to work forever in the States for companies or make my objective in life making money, I want to do something tangible, beneficial for others who could use the knowledge.
