Shanka,

I went to a Garre wedding and they all wore traditional clothes. The bride served the husband caano from a traditional flask.

It was beautiful

I have attended a wedding similar to that years ago, it is still one of the most memorable one for me! NICE!

nothing wrong with a traditional wedding, but every girl dreams of wearing that gorgeous wedding gown she's been dreaming of so ain't nothing wrong with mixing both...like wearing your wedding gown for your wedding day and make it traditional on shaashsaar/xeedho, etc.

i did both...rocked my Monique Lhuillier gown and guntino. . fabulous!!!

Wedding celebration is waste of money and time. I very much support now the AKHWAN style weddings. The bride comes in the house on her own in the afternoon, the groom after Isha prayer sneaks in without any companion and the game is over. BUUQ IYO GURBAAN ADAABA SHEEGAYA. Not even one plate of XALWAD & BUSKUT

It is tough sell to wed in AKHWAN Style, but currently I am negotiation one. If it goes through i will let you know.

waryaa akhwan girls make the biggest noise when it comes to wedding in my neck of the woods... they just don't allow men to attend and party the whole night away...after few hours of muxaadara of course.
