ok So on top of the list, the very top. on my screen shot u'd see batteries, but on urs u should see ur computer name. I would like u to right+click on that and then select the option that says Scan for hardware changes. let me know if another category appears then.

hey dude. sorry for the late reply, kinda got lost in the city . ok so I don't think ur issue is a software issue, there r no missing devices or drivers. I think ur facing a hardware failure dude, ur gona have to get it repaired. Even tho I don't think it would help, do a second restore to a month or two back.

The warranty from the future shop is for 1 yr right?? if its about hardware porblems??

Yeah man. just 5 months.

It gave some trouble couple of months ago...then a friend of mine did some job on it..its just fine except the sound and
I also lost the scroll down option..the little mouse like image that appears at the laptop's mouse like thing.

I am gonna have to bring back to them..but I may have lost the receipt . trouble right??

yeah that could be trouble, but u could have bigger troubles if ur friend opened up the system. Then ur really doomed.

I dont think he opened the thing at all. He just ploaded Vista which I had lost for some strange reasons.

I will try to find the reciept and bring it back to the future shop when I go back to Toronto.
