Brother we have long ignored our history and race dimension to this date. Looking at other nations they preserve their origins to make them salves co-exist each other in peace, because we segregate each other in tribal lines which had began few centuries ago does not make it Haram or evil thing to know our origins. In the Quran we have been told that Allah made us in different nations and tribes so as we may know each other. somalis are not from one origin that's no doubt. they also intermaaried many other neighbourhood ethnicities from yemen to oromo to bantu and God knows who else.

my personal believe is and you can disagree with me that, when people intermarry other for so long they became a new ethnic like the somalis. they are not any more what they mixed with.
