Judeophobia in the Somali Community

The fear of Jewish people is the most irrational phobia there is. Somalis, for the most part, are bunch of anti-Semitic loons!

The fear of Zionism is even more absurd. We should be collectively working our hardest to emulate those bloody bastards.

Huh? I'm not sure where you get your info from, but you are speaking from your behind buddy. The somali community works well with the Jewish community here in T.O. In fact there are clubs for somali kids which are run and supported by the Jewish community. There are many Somai women who married Jewish men. So, stop your generalizations, it screams ignorence.

As for those who are hateful, hate everyone and anyone, from jews to white to other back people and even their own somali people due to tribalism.

In every community there are those who have somekind of ism towards the "other", it is not only limited to the Somalis.

This isn't about the "other" paradigm, though. Yes, anti-Semitism is rampant--but guess what? This is a Somali board. My qualms are with those idiots in our community that hate Jews (they're usually the same nutbags that want Sharia Law imposed in Somalia and think Ethiopia is "occupying" us, mind you).

My parents and I could never really grasp the hate for Yehudi people. They're f-cking awesome.

Again, hating other races/people is not limited to Somalis. In every community there are those who hate and discriminate and this includes the Jews as well. I personally have met some Jews who hated anyone who was not Jew and felt superiority of the Jew and the inferiority of the gentile.
