Are takfiri's not an offshoot of salafi's/wahabi's?
The Sahaba were Salafis. Were they Takfiris?

There is a lot of ignorance concerning Salafiyyah. A lot of people in this forum post negative things about salafiyyah but they don't even know what it is. I advise you research and open your heart and try to seek the haqq.

Don't get Salafi confused with these other groups and sects.

Nice Video explaining Salafiyyah.

Sadeboi, Great explanation and a wise decision not to engage with 'Enlightened' Sista

American Salafi, Welcome back

A great post by Fiisabeelelah outlining what is meant by Dacwa Salaffiyah

"Assalamu a'leykum,

Let me clarify one thing, the path of the salaf-us-salih is a path. not a Hizb(group) or a private members club. so for a man to be called a follower of the salaf he must walk the path. and the path is not speech. and according to aqeedah of ahlu sunnah. Al-Imaan is speech and action of the limbs. so without action it doesnt make a difference if someone calls himself 'salafi' at the end his deeds will be weighed.

As for these people that try and make the the path of the salaf a hizb. then we tell them as the shiekh ibn utheymeen (rahimahuallah) said 'there is the path of the salaf and there is a group called the salafi's and there is a difference between them'.

So we should strive to follow them in their 'Ibaadah, in their Zuhd in their Taqwah and in their Jihaad in the path of Allah.

So we should follow the way of the salaf to the best of our ability, and then hope for the Rahma of Allah. And there is no room for self-rightousness in this deen. and as Umar (RA) said'Take account of yourselves before your are brought to account.'.

wa'alikuma salaam."

Shilling,

Saaxib one day You may regret what You said about those eminent scholars who have already passed rahimahullahu anum ajamain. That regret May be too late though.

What rubbish. They were not Salafi's! Do not try to conflate the modern day group with the Salaf. The first three generations are collectively referred to as the Salaf. Salafi's have diddly squat to do with them.

"You are takfiris, khawarij, deviants!" And then talafi runs...

Talafis in this forum are only good in insulting and then when they are asked about their arguments they just run away. For example every time there's a discussion about al Shabaab or any other mujahid group, one of them posts a message "They are khawarij no doubt" and then when he's asked the proofs for his claims he just disappears, only to come back later when there's similar discussion to give the same one-liner. Pathetic....
