Homophobia

Ok, here's what I don't understand.
How can someone who isn't fundamentally bothering your space...bother you? I understand if gays beat you up day in and day out, but they're fairly non-violent from what I've seen. Why do so many people, across cultures - hate them? Maybe I'm just not much of a hater, but some of you make it a hobby to care about something that affects your life in no way, shape, or form.
Its one thing to be morally objective to homosexuality, even though I really don't object since I'm not big on religion (and neither are many of you) - but its another thing to hate someone that doesn't violate your own space. Maybe I've just had too many positive experiences with queers, but some of you act like you've been butt-raped repeatedly by a local queer mafia syndicate. wtf!
Someone should explain to me what sort of experiences led to their homophobia, I'm intrigued by this phenomenon.

I almost joined my school's Gay Straight Alliance last year out of solidarity for all the queer kids, but didn't because of the embarrassment that would most likely ensue afterward.
But yeah, teh homos are amazing.

God never mentioned 'homosexuals' by name in either the OT, NT or Bible, so I think it's safe to say that what went down in Sodom and Gomorrah was a case of pedastry.

George Orwell never mentioned them by name in 1984 either. Neither did Sports Illustrated in it's June 2003 issue. This info is about as relevant as them being mentioned in the OT, NT, on ET, on BET on NBC, etc.
as for g.a.y.s, they don't bother me....as long as they don't bother me. waa xaram to the fullest but it's "out of sight, out of mind" as far as im concerned

I said it was OKAY to morally object to it by the way. Then its a duty to dislike their actions and their lifestyle.
But not every queer-hater is religious, or near it. They just do it as some sort of trend. Maybe its programmed in their minds or something. I mean, I get annoyed by soft queers with their flamboyance and stuff, but on the whole, I've never had negative experiences with them. Simply put, they're not violent, and if someone isn't kicking my ass or on the verge of it, I tend to appreciate them.
Some people have way too much hate stored up for a group of people they've probably never met. Honestly, maybe its just the fact that I tend to be a "live and let live" sort of person. I wish more people could follow that motto.

Orwell came up with the newspeak terms
'goodsex' and
'sexcrime'.
Both terms are very applicable to the Abrahamic religions.

Why must we accept people who exhibit deviant behavior? accepting gays is acknowledging that their behavior is normal which it isn't.
Next you're gonna be talking about accepting beastiality, and other deviant behavior.
You don't have to be religious to hate gays, though I don't think killing or beating them solves anything.
Wallahi paidmonk you need straight daqan celis sxb and stop hanging out with white liberals.

I don't get all the hate either. Two of my closest guy freinds are gay. I didn't even know one of them was in till months after getting to know them. Its not like they sit around and talk about being gay all the time.
I can understand being a bit uncomfortable around someone who is homosexual if its really agianst their beliefs but I don't understand the hatred and the violence that people have and do to them.
