Before you gorge yourself with your variety, just remember those in Somalia who can not afford Iftaar and may only have water. Be generous, if not all the time, at least for the month of Ramadan and make someones Ramadan a little more pleasant

I usually go to the mosque for afur dinner and then pray, but it's mostly arab food.

My mom normally makes a whole bunch of sambuus (just stuffing and everything not fried) before Ramadaan

so when its time, all she has to do is fry em

but im definitely not going to eat much this ramadan...

call me crazy but i absolutely love preparing afur. i usually leave work early to get started. i don't make it for a lot of people so its not that time consuming.
