My Take On the Kismaayo Front

Postby guhad122 » Thu Aug 21, 2008 5:00 pm

Unlike many Absames, I believe that this is the best time the freedom fighters take over Kismaayo for three reasons:
1. Upon taking over Kismaayo, the freedom fighters can show the world that the only city the so-called goverment occupies is Baydhabo; which is exactly how things were almost two years ago before the Ethiopian invasion.
What has changed? Nothing but many dead and abused Ethiopians and thier puppets

2. It would also be a good strategy because the Ethiopians may try to come back to the Jubooyinka but this time, our freedom fighters are well-prepared and battle-tested. Having some Ethiopians to shell every other night in Jubooyinka is a blessing for the freedom fighters

3. Finally Ilka-Yars would realize that after all Barre Huuraale is an Ethiopian agent. They are using him to create a phony Somali State called Jubaland. Their motto; divide and rule; Jubaland, Puntland, Somaliland, Galmudug Land and so forth. Many would realize that it is better to be safe than sorry and join the freedom fighters and work for Somali unity and dignity. A man who was born in Caabud-Waaq can't convince us that he represents Kismaayo.

Of all the news items I read so far today; this is the closest to the situaiton of the city right now because it confirms the stories of family members in Kismaayo that we spoke:

Guhad,

Since u had to mention my beloved Galmudug State and insulted the Mahdi Caydiid (AUN), I will defend Barre Hiiraale who is the cousin of a close friend of mine.

If you are planning to replace the Marehan with the Majeerten under the pretex of Kabalax, then you are in for a rude awakening.

I chose to not read a single Somali website about the Kismayo issue, I called my adeer who has lived in the city prior to the civil war and he told me 90% of the stuff being reported is pure hogwash. Ilaaheey ummadiisi ha kala badbaadiyo, aamiin.

AW;
Rude-aweking? Remember when Morgan controlled the city; his biggest backers were people like your uncle Cismaan Caato; When Huuraale was burning Absame cities; his biggest backers were people like Adeer Caato and Cabdi Qaybdiid. After the Dhoobley civilian massacre, Caato even flew to Kismaayo to thank Huuraale for the job well-done. Not to mention over the hundred dead SPM fighters in Afgooye you termed Lafo-Ogaadeen. I have nothing but respect for Sacad, but going by the policies of Sacad leaders, I am not sure if Sacads have that same respect for Absame.
