Ok, I actually don't know who yet, but I didn't see Berbers and they have a nice Islamic tradition so that was my way of adding them to the poll.

Since there are non-Arab Sudanis (i.e. Darfuris) and Saharans, you have to include them in the poll.

I mean which community has had the greatest influence in terms of Islamic education, culture, laws, etc..that has been preserved over time and has been very influential in spreading Islam and empowering their respective communities.

Zero,

There are separate religious traditions in Somalia, North and South. It was the Benadir Ulama that sent missionaries up and down the East African coast and as far west as Nigeria. The Qadiriyya in it's totality, based in Baghdad, sent missionaries to India and as far north into Europe as Chechnya. But southern Somalia, more specifically Hamar and Baraawe, was it's African base.
