Free or Charge a Fee

Do u demand a cut from relatives who ask you to help them purchase/get things they need back home ?

My cousin started acting funny when I told him I would charge a fee.

I guess he forgot the cardinal rule of business:

"Thank you for being my friend, relative or associate but my business does not know you."

I would spend my time. Use my telephone, internet, and credit.

Plus he got the loot so why would he oppose paying up a modest fee.

Our people need to learn how to depend on their pockets period. I recently visited some parts in Europe and guess what? So many distant relatives and aquaintances asked me to take presents for them..

Can you imagine, one lady asked me to carry 20 bottles of baby lotion...20 :!:

The big ones.. I had to bring home five huge bags and zi ended up the one paying for ther weight.. :down:

Its worse if you are going to Africa. People think Virginia and Georgia are nearby and want u to mail stuff :down:

Or they give u useless crap to bring back home like Muqmad :down:

When I go to Africa, I make sure to avoid qaarabo until the last day and say macsalama at once.
