AMERICAN POLITICS

Postby *Nobleman* » Fri Sep 05, 2008 4:27 am

This shit has more coverage in the UK than the british general elections. You would think we were allowed to vote as well:

A few observations I have noticed:

The speeches by the obama, mccain, palin etc rarley contain information about policies. Its full of sound bites, personal exagrated stories, american patrioism and heroism, but no actual depth.

People are either liberal or conservative and will vote for their party regardless. Policies dont mean a thing.

generally americans are dumb, they are enchanted by the speeches. Mccain was giving a speech and i could see puppy tears in the crowd wtf.

Who ever wins, be it obama or mccain, US and global politics will have little change.

By the simpleness of the speeches you would notice that majority of Americans are simpletons, minus the northern states, and especially the northwest states who have highly educated more affluent (mostly liberal) voters.

The amount of times i've heard the sound bites 'change will come' ' we will change america', 'when i was in the army or growing up ....'

OMG the RNC was tediously boring and their speeches made you want to throw up. Seriously, how many times are we going to hear about McCain's life story. Dont even get me started on his speech. :x
