The Imaam at our masjid recently finished a degree in engineering, is working on his masters, and is happily married with like six children and counting. Mashallah, what's better then having the best of both worlds. And he still has more energy then men younger then his age who have nothing to worry about, nor any responsibilities except for a "regular" job or school. May allah bless his family and give him all the success in the world. Amiin

And I bet the Imaam collects welfare. The imaam at my last mosque used to encourage me to get married while I was still in school...I used to tell him fock off.

No good job and education means "WELAFARE" living in the "Projects" which a lots of somalis are not shame off......

Dadka Islaamka ah afkaaga ka du :!:

We need to break the "CIRCLE" darling

It is a matter of personal choice weather a couple want to get married durring or after finishing their degrees.

I dont think its such a big deal. How does having a degree change the roles of a husband and wife?

It doesnt.

I disagree, the propeht (scw) encouraged to get married young. Marriage was and still is a shield from zina, and if marriage wasn't/isn't possible fasting was encouraged

There is a thing called "too young"

look at every muslim community and see the high divorce rates

and they all have youth in common, like 20 year olds being married and stuff

Being married is good for wealth building wallahi. For that reason, I do encourage somalis to get married and get married young.

I agree with you. All this bs about being comfortable and having money and financial stability is just loads of crap.

I strongly advice to get married while still young..no matter the cosequences..cos the worst that could happen is that one avoids zina.
