Khartoum is slowly becoming the Dubai of East Africa. For the brothers and sisters who are considering a Muslim country where there are opportunities of business and housing, I recommend Sudan. Fortunately for me, I have Sudanese relatives.

It is funny how all these countries that use to be dirt poor are developing in a very fast rate... :)

Soon Europe, America and Australia will be third world and Africa, Asia and Latin America the first world :D

I just hope they distribute their wealth equally so the people won't see the need to raise up against the government. Also, it sucks that Sudan has to play second-fiddle to Ethiopia. It is more wealthier, so it should concentrate on its national security and initiate a more assertive role in the region. A powerful, united and prosperous Sudan is in Somalia's best interest

Sudan is making a big mistake like Somalia before the war..

All the developments are based in Khartoum only but the rest of the country is very underdeveloped.

Sudan is one of Africa's biggest countries in size, it should at least have a few other well build cities other than Khartoum.

I hate the gulf arabs for the obvious reason and Yemen and Libya for their support to Ethiopia in 1977 :somalia:

Sudan is a potential long-term ally of Somalia. We both face the same odds.

I wouldn't expect you to like Somalia. You are a traitor after-all
