All the developments are based in Khartoum only but the rest of the country is very underdeveloped.

Sudan is one of Africa's biggest countries in size, it should at least have a few other well build cities other than Khartoum.
That isn't the case. Other cities are as well under development. You can check the latest pictures at Flickr.com. Example:

Port Sudan

The ones I see in Dubai always wear the Sudani style-khamiis

which kind of looks like the Egyptian khamiis

culturally Egypt and Sudan are actually very close..One is just lighter and the other just very dark skin

Ok they got Port Sudan (which still is years behind Khartoum), go to south Sudan and darfur even Gedo, Somalia is better than those places

WHO CARES?

Showing pictures of other countries and cities and say "look at this oooohhh wow" is barbaric.

The Darfur conflict is exaggerated suffering to pressure Sudan in meeting Western demands. The hypocrisy becomes the more clear when America is engaged in financing and arming the men responsible for the World's biggest humanitarian catastrophe just few hundred miles away in Somalia. I don't heed to these baseless alerts.

Dawwa9,

Khartoum isn't even the biggest city in Sudan.

Omdurman is actually the biggest city in Sudan, and I believe it should be the capital for both its size and historic significance. The only problem with Omdurman is that its roots lie too close to the hardcore Muslims in the country and making it the capital would alienate many Sudanese.

But you're wrong once more because Sudan has many major cities:

Omdurman
Khartoum
Port Sudan
Kassala
Dunqula
Merowe

You can argue, however, that all of these major cities are in Northern Sudan alone, but then again, when we speak of Sudan, we only speak of the North. The South can be closer tied to Uganda or Ethiopia and Darfur can be closer tied to the Central African Republic or Chad.

Omdurman and Khartoum are the same metro area, just two different names...Look at the maps they grown in to each other

Your list stops at Port Sudan.. Kassala is pretty primitive

The South is autonomous and has its own budget to develop, so I don't know why it's lagging in development. With regard to Darfur, it's normal that development would lag there because of the conflict. But, the situation is stabilizing as Sudan is succeeding in defeating the external forces that are meddling in Sudan's internal affairs.

Your geography knowledge could use some brushing. Darfur isn't located in South Sudan, and there hasn't been a conflict in the South for many years.
