I don't believe in divorce.

I don't know where I got this sentiment from but by some means I'm and I've always been not in favour of people divorcing. So I was thinking, if my luck brings me an evil wife; does this mean I'm screwed given that I hate annulment? (technically I will be her permanent b!tch)

no sxb, I don't either.......if my wife turns out to be an evil hag, I will hack her head clean off and leave her to fertilize in the desert. The only divorce I can accept is six feet below.

If you don't believe in divorce dont get married. Divorce and marriage are part of Islam.

Suufi, yes it part of Islam, its also the lawful thing in Islam which Allah (swt) hates most.

Yaa Uqti qalbiga aa ku diiday.. that's when Sheikhs marry poor innocent girl and get her pregnant.. apparently that's the line they use to ditch her while there is a qudbo sireet lined up for the next night.

True. What will you do to her? Kill her? The procedures in place for divorce in Islam is to encourage reconciliation where ever possible.

"And if you fear a breach between the two, then appoint judge from his people and a judge from her people; if they both desire agreement, Allah will effect harmony between them, surely Allah is Knowing, Aware." (4:35).

Islam does not force unhappy couples to stay together, but offers procedures to help them to be reconciled with each other. If reconciliation is impossible the law does not impose any unnecessary delay or obstacle in the way of either partner's remarriage.

Islam does not force unhappy couples to stay together true but it also does not go well with a believing individual to go into divorce flippantly. Those who wish for the nearness of Allah (swt) must take the greatest care in this regard, and not separate from their spouse until utterly indispensable.

1man, Actually, divorce may safe many things...including one's dignity.

There is a Sura called "Athalaq" ..and for a reason...but no sura for marriage.

I will give her not just 3deeda..I will add one extra dalaaq, if I get married to an evil wife. :mrgreen:
