I dont think we need to argue the point that one's upbring molds him/her into shaping their individuality,values,morals and their general outlook in life.

Your values, moral and general outlook should be based on Islam. Once you're old enough you should be able to form all of the above. You are a grown up. Lets take responsiblity for our own actions.

lol....so what are parents for then? If they are not going to build those fundamentals for their kids according to the teaching of Islam. Do you believe we all are raised based on those principles? And what happens to those kids who aren't? Sure, as adults we have to take full responsibility for our actions, but as kids how you are raised plays a major role in self concept and identity. Simple.... caruur ilahay hadu ku siyo, wa wajibkada inaad diinta and dhaqanka Islamka barta otherwise akhiro wa lagu qaabsana.

i've seen my mom pissed at us or my dad, but its not as ugly as what you all are quoting...

but I have never seen this in our house or in anyone else's when I see their mom upset

Some of today's mothers are worse..esp some single moms I have seen throughout..it makes the old moms sound like priests.

Cursing their kids with : Aabaha iyo khaniski ku dhalay, wecelyow wecelku dhalay and certain caays I cant even mention.

Waa nation baaba'ay iy umad ilahay inkartisa ku dhacday somalida..

I once saw a Xaayoow woman saying to her stubborn son, "Soo kac, kor halaguu xiree."

Kor halaguu xiree=May they hang you.
