Tribalism or in this topic's case regionalism is usually the foundation to support or rationalizing for individual's failure. It is the human nature to seek for cover under the group name when they fail to accomplish any goals in their own life. For example, if you examine the white supremacist, majority of them failed in life, thus it is easier for them to find comfort in the broader concept of being white. Something with Black Americans; when they can fulfill their god given goals in life (which is to be a productive human being), they seek refuge under the umbrella of being a black in America.

In our case, Majority of Somalis relinquish their individual responsibilities as an human being, and acquire (rather fight for) a collective one. To hide our lack of productivity as individual, we claim our clan have done great things. Last I checked, your book of RAQIb & CATID, will only show your actions (good or bad), and there will be no entries of your clan's victories. Further, there will be no entries of collective deeds from your Southerners or Northerners bodies. In fact there will no mentions of WANLAWEYN or KHALDAAMIIN.

In my opinion, I strongly believe there are no good Qabiils or bad ones, but rather very wise and intelligent individuals, and some irrational and idiotic. There are some good people from the south and there are some fools too. Similarly, there are good and bad people in the north too. I cant take an advantage of my next door neighbor's success in life and claim since we are from same neighborhood we are both achievers. Likewise, his bad decisions wont make me a failure.

Sahan,

Siyaasad iyo qabiil ayaa isaga kaa qaldan sxb, ONLF waa xornimo u dirir ah gobolka ay somalidu degto ayuuna ka dagaalamayaa oo kaliya.
Ogaadeenka aad sheegi waa qabiil cid taareersan iyo kuwo ka soo horjeedaba wey leeyihiin siyasada ONLF, Hyperactive ayaana si fiican kuugu sharxay. Dalkeena xaq u dirirka ah ma tirsano daqoodhiga, bal iyaga ayaanu xabashida ka necebnahay, sow maad garan.

ONLF waxaa ka mid ah dad badan oo aan Ogaadeen aheyn, siyaasigii ugu weynaa maamulka Kilil-ka ee mar madaxweyne ku-xigeenka ahaa waa kii ONLF ku biiray markii u adkaysan waayey dhibka lagu hayo dadkiisa (his name was Riyaale Xaamus, an Ciise from Diredawa).

ONLF Somalia waligeed kama dagaalamin, kolba warlodkii Ethiopian beer laxawsi ka doonaya ayaa yidhaah ONLF ayaa ila dagaashay, wey u dawarsadan sida "war on terror" uu Meles ugu dawarsado, la yaabna malahan oo dantii baa ka gashay.

The problem with Sahan stems from the harti-gaagab side of his.
