A peace accord between the TFG and the rebel Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia (ARS), signed last month in neighbouring Djibouti, calls on the UN to replace AMISOM with its own peacekeeping force, and Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has begun contingency planning for such an operation."We are now in the process of implementation [of the Djibouti Agreement] - hopefully without undue delays," Mr. Jengeli told the Assembly. "But we are also mindful, after 18 years of conflict, that delays occur [because] of the tactics of those who have developed vested interests in anarchy and chaos.

The Minister for foreign affairs in the flimsy Somali transitional federal government Mr. Ali jamac Jangeli has delivered a speech in the 63rd United Nations summit in New York.

The Minister has at large talked about the early sovereignty of Somalia to its current state, the Minister switched on the torch for the international community on how to help the sinking nation which was in anarchy for the past 17 years.

In Somalia they can only do good. Somalis have done more harm to Somalia than the Jews have done. to the Palistinians.

The Animals in the South must not have it easy.

Bangladeshis are good people and will not get involved in any civil war.

They will sit back and watch the show while cooking their curry and rice.

This is the problem in somalia.

There are those (the overwhelming majority) who want peace and then there are those who are still stuck on the 90s mindset
And still advocating for more chaos, prolongation of the war..since they only benefit from that chaos.

Cawar,

A peacekeeping force is not needed. All we need are neutral observers to ensure all parties keep to an agreement.

The TFG group are counting on peacekeepers to protect them from the retribution that originated from their Ethiopian backers.

Bull.. the TFG wanted peacekeepers before they ever set foot on Mogadishu..so that they could be protected and carry on with their fundamental functions
in creating so many things from scratch..ZERO.

Were they fearing retributions back then??

I am amazed at how good you guys are in spreading all this BS to oppsoe the TFG.because its in your own interest to oppsoe any peace effort and everyone knows that, and has known that.

But..you HG folks perfected the art of fabricating rumours, lies and creating unexsisting situations out of no where..

Now you are the Jihadists as you claim.. yeah and G Bush is for the poor Americns interests.. I knew that you could fool some ppl sometimes..
but you cant fool all the ppl all the time sxb.

Cawar,

I believe in reconciliation once the birds come home to roost in Afbiijo's land. Majeerten must also face the same kind of treatment the people of Xamar have faced since the TFG and their Ethiopian goons arrived.

Then and only then, can we have peacekeepers. But to allow Majeerten not to suffer and be protected by the Peacekeepers is unfair and will not be tolerated.
