am i the only one offended when ppl use the term isamists when they describe a certain group? call them by there names and dont use the world islamist because islam is greater then a human being and those human who have embraced islam are called muslims.

It's an English term that describes a practicing Muslim. If you say Muslim, it could be any sort of Muslim, practicing, non-practicing, terrorist, moderate, liberal, etc. You yourself use terrorist, so it shouldn't offend you.

the funny thing is when somalis use it trying to imitade the american. lakiin ma fahansana the term implies someone who is practising their deen. the term FANATIC..in the west its a good thing to be FANATIC about will smith,but if your FANATIC about the holly QURAN your being extreme.

Don't you call Al-Shabaab burcad or argagixiso? I don't know what's your problem. The term "Islamist" has been there for many years or even decades. It simply means: an active Muslim.

If you are a practicing Muslim, the term shouldn't bother you.

just don't use the term to describe yourselves or others.

call them wahabi jihadists.
