it is not tha way u think
let me put it this way
it activates ones brain like nothing else, so it's important ur
u assign yourselve some task. it's very, very important in
this case, to a limit that london mayor is ordering for it
to ease his task in planning the city
4 Olympics in the 2012 beleive me, or u socialise while chewing
otherwise, if u take it alone, ur mind is tired for nonsense
and it gets spoilt
so it doesnt mean it's adrug, it rather means
more than enough of good is bad!

it was recently researched in The Netherlands and they say it contains an extraordinary level of caffaiene that's the only bad news abt khat.
I once tasted it a bit when I was a kid. It was bitter, so I spit it out. I know it's a drug. For one, it can cause amnesia (possibly permanent amnesia). Evidence:

No it's not believe me abu
the research show caffeine no other
substance. and people say its narcotic,hallucinogenic some other things
now, they dont show in the lab.

You're mistaken. It contains Cathinone, which is similar to ephedrine, cathine and other amphetamines.

but i dont regret coz am neither a constant chewer
not inflexible am an adventure lover, fun loving and a bit risk taking
every organ has its own type of gym jaad is the exercise of the brain
u don have to be dull day in day out
u gotta activate ur brain cells

Effects:Khat consumption induces mild euphoria and excitement. Individuals become very talkative under the influence of the drug and may appear to be unrealistic and emotionally unstable. Khat can induce manic behaviors and hyperactivity. Khat is an effective anorectic and its use also results in constipation. Dilated pupils (mydriasis), which are prominent during khat consumption, reflect the sympathomimetic effects of the drug, which are also reflected in increased heart rate and blood pressure. A state of drowsy hallucinations (hypnagogic hallucinations) may result coming down from khat use as well. Withdrawal symptoms that may follow prolonged khat use include lethargy, mild depression, nightmares, and slight tremor. Long-term use can precipitate the following effects: negative impact on liver function, permanent tooth darkening (of a greenish tinge), susceptibility to ulcers, and diminished sex drive. Those who abuse the drug generally cannot stay without it for more than 4-5 days, feeling tired and having difficulty concentrating. Occasionally a psychosis can result. It resembles a hypermanic state in presentation.
