Ms.Nalia, use Evaporated milk, like Nido. It tasted good on Somali coffee and on Somali tee. As for milk itself, who drinks milk, I though it was only for kids?

ms.nalia wrote:mothers milk is different tho. Its natural for a mother to give her child food to sustain him/her. Biologically women have breast milk to do that. And even that, theres only a limited time that a mother can give breast milk and the child start being introduced to real food.

But what Im saying is milk from other animals. Is it natural?

I dont drink camel milk either

there's a restaurant in Switzerland that uses breast milk in its recipes. they're paying women to donate their breast milk.

the got milk campaign encouraging the purchase of cow's milk, which was created by the advertising agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners for the California Milk Processor Board in 1993 and later licensed for use by milk processors and dairy farmers. It has been running since October 1993. The campaign is credited with putting life back into milk sales nationwide after a 20-year slump.

miss nalia drinking milk is as natural because what cows eat is or supposed to be. this is what i read on a website. dont know if its true lol.
Whole cow's milk is suited to the nutritional needs of calves who, unlike human babies, double their weight in 47 days (as opposed to 180 for humans), grow four healthy stomachs, and weigh 300 pounds within a year. Cow's milk contains about three times as much protein as human milk and almost 50 percent more fat. Despite the clever advertising of the dairy industry, it is not "natural" for humans to drink cow's milk. No other species drinks milk beyond infancy, and no other species drinks the milk of another species (except domestic cats and dogs, who are taught the habit). After four years of age, most people develop lactose intolerance, the inability to digest the carbohydrate lactose (found in milk), because they no longer synthesize the digestive enzyme lactase. Consuming dairy products after early childhood can cause diarrhea, gas, and cramps.

So the only reason ppl drink cow milk is to get fat?
I understand givinig children milk as a source of calcium when they are young. But as adults, we dont need to drink milk. Its not natural. In fact, you can get more calcium out of eating broccoli than drinking milk....

Mr.Bile
What your suggesting there is utterly dispicable and nasty[/b].

nalia,

when you're breast feeding your baby, you're suppose to taste it first. pump a little out first and taste it... it should be good enough for you before its good enough for your baby.
