What are the lessons you have learnt from 18 years of civil war?

Air Canada,

1. Aidid (AUN) was too soft on Hawiye & too tough on Darood.

2. Generals & military men don't make good politicians.

3. Let military men be only military

4. Too much power in 1 man's hand is not good.

5. Wadaads have no place in politics and if Allahu Akbar is shouted outside a masjid, something horrible is to happen.

6. Negotiate and make deals with your opponent because if his group fractures, there will be more opponents to deal with.

Laa xowla walaa quwata

But what about what i think is the most fundamental lesson, that qabiil will never work?

No such think as Hawiye or Daarod botherhood will ever work.

You can't tell me a traitor like Maxamed Dheere and Jelle (who said they will treat the wounded Ethiopians who are fighting against another Hawiye-Hiraab sub-clan and that his enemy are not the Ethiopians who he said are his brothers but your iljeex clan) are my Hawiye brothers. You can't tell me a traitor like Qeybdiid is my own brother and a man like Sheikh Xassan Turki is my enemy.

You can't tell the Ogaden man the filthy MJ who is prostituting for his #1 enemy is his brother. You can't tell him the one handing over his innocent brother/sister to habashi is his brother and Air Canada is your enemy.

And this is just one example. Marehan hate MJ, MJ hates MR, Abgaal hate HG, etc.

Air Canada,

So what is your qabiil ?

I view Beesha Akhwan as one group.

I got one cousin who is Akhwan and I never invite him to Toolka events. Don't trust him one. Gardhere tool mahan wa caddow ku qarsan.

Wallahi these fockers should have been teaching the Social Engineering classes. They are very persuasive and you have to understand that Somalis as a whole are very much into their DIIN and they took advantage of that.

If that were true, why didn't Aidid kill all of these Dooro so we could live peacefully? Aidid killed more Hawiye than Daarod and there is no question about that. Daarod fled early and were saved from his wrath.

2. Generals & military men don't make good politicians.

Then why did this http://somaliawatch.com/New_audio/cabdulahi.rm happen?

Also, do you admit that Aidid was one of the worst politicians we have seen?

3. Let military men be only military

I agree and you should never have elected the worst among the military

4. Too much power in 1 man's hand is not good.

This should never happen

5. Wadaads have no place in politics and if Allahu Akbar is shouted outside a masjid, something horrible is to happen.

But wadaads produced the best result in short amount of time.

6. Negotiate and make deals with your opponent because if his group fractures, there will be more opponents to deal with.

Something which Aidid failed to do.
