You have raised no credible arguments and refutations, so you just resort to saying things like no credible historian will make the claim & injecting Tupac & Elvis into the discussion.

I raised the point that this is what is in his diary, and you claim not to believe it solely out of opinion, which you're entitled to have, but you only claim it is absurd but provide no reason as to why it would be.

We both established his affinity towards Islam, but you say it is absurd that he did in fact become Muslim, whereas I say that unless these diary entries can be proven to be forgeries, he DID in fact become Muslim.

Tupac and Elvis are a very valid point. There is no prove that Napoleon ever wrote those words. Actually, some arabian dude made the same claim on the FaceBook Group for Napoleon and he was forced to retreat. Take the facts for what they are worth and not what you want them to be. Napoleon was a non-practicing Christian and he died one. Accept that basic truth and take your head out of the gutter

i'm a conspiracy junkie myself and this is could proof true beyond just simple speculations. it is indeed true he was a great admirer of Islam and there are reports out there which suggest that he may have even furthered his admirations should time had allowed him.

Never heard this conspiracy until today. I have read alot about the brave Midget, well it could be true. From reading about him i know he was never Christianic- meaning-- he never really embraced christianity. All his dealing did not have a religous reference. He was just a typical man filled with testosterones- who loved to fight more than talk. He was a typical niin raag-- despite his unattractive height.

Well, if it's in his diary I think that goes beyond conspiracy theories or simple speculation
The fact that he admired Islam so openly at a time when Europe was instinctively hostile towards it indicates his free-thinking spirit and ability to think independently and buck conventional wisdom.

Having analyzd this quote alone, i know for sure Napolean DID NOT write this. This 'voice' is more like a third party wishful thinking. And also the the writer of this quote used these telling words "time to face the truth' -- the word truth especially is obviously coming from a zelous faith believing individual. It does not come from an unsure person new to a religion as Napolean would have been to islam. Does it make sense Gedo?

Napoleon's last word when was facing death were like this:

No, it doesn't make sense. You are assuming someone new to a religion is unsure of the religion he just accepted. Why then would someone accept that religion? Most people accept a religion when they are sure it is the truth and then "decide it is time to face the truth" ; ie, one decides to face the music.

This sounds like someone who has been thinking about this a long time, and finally decided to act on his convictions.

This world is transient anyways, and you would have died regardless. A lot of times, a person sees calamities before they die and that is a good sign, b/c Allah gives trials in this world to cleanse people whom he loves.

Mods do not have the power to do anything but delete posts.

There is something on the board that can be activated to limit what and how much can be posted. Sources can also be limited and proscribed.

One of the mods got upset because I came out anti-Mugabe duiring the election crises in Tanzania. It took me most of an afternoon to post on the aborted Chinese arms shipment.
