Cali Gaab, Elaay aren't minority. They were a major competitors to SYL during the 196's and currently are heavyweight in Somali politics. Unlike the weak Isaaq, the can cut tussle with the rest of the South, something you couldn't manage all your life

Eelaay are actually pretty weak politically, its Leysaan, Hadame, Hariin who are/were the political power in Rahanweyn.

Shirib, I did the same mistake again. I call Elaay everybody in Baydhabo. I know You told me Elaay is a sub-clan of Mrifle, but I keep equating Elaay with the whole Mrifle :lol:

I didn't try to 'portray' them as being minority, i just seriously thought so.

Your making it sound like i was painting them in the wrong light on purpose, it was just misunderstanding.

If those girls didn't whisper then i wouldn't think they were minority or something to be ashamed about, which is what i thought why the girls whispered it.
