I first came across this interpretation (one eye niqaab) from arguably the most popular translation of the Qur'an, ( The Noble Qur'an Muhsin Khan and Hilali) according to these two translators..when Allah s.w.t says Muslim women must dress modestly and put the khimar over themselves..it means literally all over the body except for ONE EYE.

I'm not saying that the problem is coming from the female, but the Creators of the One-eyed niqaab certainly think that the flirting is coming from the women, which is why they want to close the eye. Otherwise, they wouldn't have focused on the women's eyes and what they are doing, winking or whatever.

That's why I was saying you can't stop a woman from flirting by closing one eye of the niqaab.
