This is what i have been saying all along and I knew Mujahid Abu Mansuur has no intention of harming Axmed Diiriye or any of the Hawiye elders who are fighting for the freedom of all Somalis. But i just couldn't doubt Axmed Diiriye even though he never said Abu Mansuur had threatened him directly.
Not only did Abu Mansuur say that is a complete lie but he also said Axmed Diiriye along with the rest of the elders are men they respect who suffered great deal for supporting the freedom fighters.
Abu Mansuur also said they will discuss the possibilities of re-opening the airport since it is what the elders and many others want. He said the decision to shut it down was not a revelation from allah and so they might overturn that decision if people think the ones who are most suffering as a result of this are the public themselves.
I told you shabaab cannot and will never harm Axmed Diiriye. What i think will happen (and i always get it right) is shabaab will re-open the airport in the next few days.
