Boy! I Don't Blame Them..

Postby kambuli » Wed Oct 15, 2008 10:59 am

Young people who grew up in the West....How can anyone understand the lyrics of Somali songs? Mostly the old ones...

Kinzi Adan was saying:

Horweyn dhalay la aragyoo,
Haleelada la maalyoo....

I am sure no one who was born in the West will even guess the meaning of these words..

Shirib,

horweyn dhalay la aragyo

horweyn are the male camels and male camels cant give birth

so it means the time when horweyn (male camels) will give birth which's focking never

haleel's the camel or cow that gave birth to baby animal but back in somalia, they dont milk them cause the milk's for the baby animals

haleelada la maalyo

haleelada being milked

shiid doesnt make sense. i think he's talking about something that will never happen.

U know like when the gaalo says, when hell freezes over
haleelada
