In looking at Somalis I wouldn't be suprised if they were enslaved by some group at one point or another. Their insecurity in regards to complexion, hair, physical features points towards that. You never see that with the Caucasian, Persian or other races with proud aristocratic legacies, but You find it with historically subjegated groups Africans, Indians and to a lesser extent Arabs.
