It's hard here in Oakland to go anywhere without seeing some critter run over. It's worse when you know them. We had a good-sized buck that used to visit our front yard every week or so for several years. I saw him dead down on the freeway two weeks ago. Sad.

Cars and wild critters mix badly.....

AW

It's not legal to shoot inside the city limits, and these particular deer are practically pets. It would take another family hunt up in Utah to get me back out deer hunting, and I don't see that happening. Most of us have lost the taste for venison. It's only the comraderie that makes the effort worth while.

Grant,

Utah ? That is a very social restrictive state. We have our Akhwans and you have the Mormons.

Can't believe the pubs and clubs close early and you have to buy "membership" to get in.

AW,

Unless they've changed things without my knowing it, it's worse than that. You can only buy booze at State-owned liquor stores. You have to take your own bottle to the club or restorant and buy "set-ups".

I have seen more than one Utah resident drive to California to stock his wine cellar.

Grant,

Utah is one of those states I plan to never visit.

How is your business going ? Any effects of the recession ?

Chilli,

Nothing is more thrilling than pulling the trigger shooting the animal while it stares at you.
