i'd say the remnants of the former islamic courts have got a hold on most parts of the city,
the so called TFG are being protected by AU troops in strategic parts of the capital like the docks, the airport and the presidential compound.
but so far, alshabaab fighters have been carrying out recent attacks against the AU troops.

american suufi, give them a break, you know for a long time they united the population against the xabashi occupation, it is difficult to talk about their attacking strategies because of how mogadishu is built.
