Kolombo, the author (Georges Revoil) was a famous French traveller-photographer who was one of the first European explorer to set foot inside the Horn of Africa. He visited Ardul Somali (including Ethiopia) all the way to Zanzibar.

He had some Djiboutian images but I left them out due the indecency.

Those are the classic Somali. I love the men's hairstyles and clothing. Its a throwback to a more pure Somali culture free of the influences of the Arabs/Indians etc.

But honestly, Warsame101 why did you omit their subclans? Their would be no valid reason to do unless it was a coverup. Your whole photobucket account is concentrated on the history of marehan and I wouldnt put it past you that these pictures were really taken in gedo. Everybody is clearly interested in what clan they are.

I never knew Fiqi Yaqcub(marehan) and Uurmig(marehan) were so dark, and congo looking.
