I dont even know if they are from Gedo. Im just assuming Warsame101 omitted the clan information because he feared we would find out these bantu-looking somalis were from gedo.

Beautiful people and I long for those days, I am sure they did not suffer from depression and other problems we modern Somali suffer from.

They look like Oromos because, we are also of Oromo origin, that is my believe.

This is an example of "Tell a lie long enough and you might actually start to believe it."

Southern Somalia has the most diversity anywhere in Somalia. Its settled by Somalis of vast clans, traditions and skin-tones. Some of these clans happen to be Gandershe (Sheikhaal), Baadicade, Gaaljecel, Shaanshi, Barawaani, Biyamaal, Jiido, Raxanweyn, Gabare, etc who are commonly known for having "fair" skin compared to everyone else. Compare this diversity to the two groups who settle in the North i.e. Harti & Isaaq. Furthermore, climates in the South, spcecially in Jubba is a cooler climate compared to Bari & Mudug. Exposure to sun-light in this region is less than that endured by the fishers of Bari and the dessert dwellers in Mudug.

The darkest people I ever saw were just a little northwest of Burcao. They were metalic: green, blue and purple. Seriously.

These pics make me wonder when the classic Somali "afro" originated. Anyone know how long it was in vogue? It was very common when I was in Somalia in the Sixties.

Sun frying people 24/7 in Kismaayo and Gedo

Even during the night there is UV making people black in south Somalia

Look at the positive sides, you guys have more solar energy than north Somalia..

dawwa,

You're a dimwit. All you have is empty clan claims and not a shred of evidence or common sense.

How could we change so much in 120 years? None of my relatives look like that.

Even though Bosaso is much hotter than many places in the South, UV rays might be 50% less there.

You guys don't know basic science

Why do you think Kenyans in cool Nairobi are black as coal?
