Ever time i wonder why we make so much dua for peace in somalia and it never materializes, i remember this hadith. so true but so sad at the same time.

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said : the messenger of Allah said :

p "Allah the Almighty is good and accepts only that which is good. Allah has commanded the faithful to do that which he commanded the messengers, and the Almighty has said: "O ye messengers ! Eat of the good things and do right". And Allah the Almighty has said : "O ye who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you"
Then he mentioned [the case of] a man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty and who spreads out his hands to the sky [saying] : "O Lord! O Lord!" - while his food is unlawful, his drink unlawful, his clothing unlawful, and he is nourished unlawfully, so how can he be answered !"

In all honesty no matter how much we hate on each other Somalis are no worse than any other people who have walked this earth. Look at Dubai, is their country peaceful and prosperous because they are such good muslims? What about Europe or even America for that matter. We all have our good and bad lakin I hate this idea that this is somehow a punishment from God...a test perhaps, but a punishment? That would be cruel.

BV i completely agree with you and that is the other flip side of this coin. but so much people are confused and are saying we are muslims why do we have to suffer, and you find this people who go to masjids and make prayers who give lectures to others not practicing what they preach. we have wadaads that trick the system so they can safe or make more money, we have wadaads that support and send money to their particular militias, and so on. that same person would come to the masjid and make dua all night, but how will it be achieved when he/she is part of the problem. so i am just analyzing the half that said they are good.

Somalis are their own worst enemy and think they are so different, hating and despising each other based on qabyaalaad

God ain't going to help people like that

thank you Sagaashan for the reminding us.

that's what happening, when what you eat not halal, what you wear not halal and do every thing Allah forbid, how we expect Allah will answer our prayers?

if i disobey my father, i couldnt ask him any favor. i would be ashamed of my self to even look at his eyes.

i feel shame of Allah. inda adeygas ma lihi.
