You have had the opportunity to visit your tribal lands, learn your abtiris, even become a tribalist

Adeer, you really need to go. Seriously, it would do you a lot of good and motivate you.
My nephew who was being a difficult child & slacker (not saying you are) spent 3 months in Mudug and begged to come home. He is now a straight A student and very motivated. I guess herding animals, drinking dirty water and suffering diarrhea can motivate anyone.

I have never tasted maraq that tasted as good as that or had some good lamb as that wallahi. Camel meat is a bit tough but when made into oodkac and you are served fresh canjeero and fresh goat milk heated a little with sugar wallahi it is the most soulful thing.
I have also never seen the stars so clear in my whole life nor felt such a sense of peace. I would have slept on that nice warm red sand at night if I wasn't told scorpions walk around at dusk.
But it is nice, you should definitely go see Baadiye with your folks one time.
