If that's the case, women who have that mentality should have no problem being treated like they are useless, and should be talked down to since they are useless.
I've heard of supporting your wife but whats mine is mine and what's your's is mine will only work on a retarded husband.
kulaha what's yours is mines, wallahi that type of mentality reminds me of the wife on that show "married with children." and we all know her status as a woman.

What exactly qualifies one being a golddigger? I believe it is someone that is after money, and ONLY money. The majority of women want other qualities including a nice income. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with that, but I also believe a women should not rely on a man for financial stability.

complaining about such things.

I don't have to worry about ending up peggy bundy, I've recently found quite a rare catch much like myself and we share much of the same beliefs alhamdulilah.
I see you got my point, a man should be able to support and not worry about becoming bankrupt.

WAKE UP BROTHERS!

This saying is mandated by ISLAM, this is her RIGHT as a MUSLIM WOMEN, the fact that you try and encroach upon it, is frankly disgusting.

Allah has made you men the PROVIDERS, this means that EVEN if she is RICH, under no circumstances is she obliged to fufil your role as the MAN of the house (which means providing for the income of the household). Be men, go out and get jobs, that is Islam.

In my opinion there is no such thing as a Gold digger in Islam, you are free to marry anyone under the sun who is muslim just because he/she is RICH (yeah men can marry a women for her money, again yeah there are women money - you know the dollar...dollar, bling bling), however you'll find out that money is nothing when it comes to happiness.

This is a serious issue in the Somali community, because some faraxs now believe that it's duty of the government to provide for their families!

I don't think any sane lady should stay with a man who can't pay for a simple meal!

Wasalaam.
