Allah has made you men the PROVIDERS, this means that EVEN if she is RICH, under no circumstances is she obliged to fufil your role as the MAN of the house (which means providing for the income of the household). Be men, go out and get jobs, that is Islam.

In my opinion there is no such thing as a Gold digger in Islam, you are free to marry anyone under the sun who is muslim just because he/she is RICH (yeah men can marry a women for her money, again yeah there are women money - you know the dollar...dollar, bling bling), however you'll find out that money is nothing when it comes to happiness.

This is a serious issue in the Somali community, because some faraxs now believe that it's duty of the government to provide for their families!

I don't think any sane lady should stay with a man who can't pay for a simple meal!
