The awliya are protected by their Lord, He is the one who will avenge the transgression against His sincere servants. Allah is the one who raises and He is the one Who lowers, so stop ascribing ignorance to others.

I agree and dont intend to go off topic after this post..but sxb what and the way somalis understand awliya and what it really means are totally different.

Anybody who takes Allah as his waali and defends the words of Allah with his money and life is Weliyu Laah..
But not some remote sheek who died few hundred yrs ago coming back as a snake or something..and thats what somalis believe to be awliya.lol

Kismayo is calling themselves Hizbul Islaami now, al-Shabab is not the Kismayo group but rather the Lower Shabelle and Bay group led by Mukhtar Roobow.
So the article has at least one major factual problem.

The Shabaab in Jubbaland are now completely Marehan and Ogaden, the same hardcore men who were in Al Itixaad in Gedo. Shiekh Turki is their spiritual head and they are very independent.

PS. I dont like engaging in any debate with you, for the simple fact that no matter what..you wont stop arguing..you dont know when to call it quits.

However, I think that James dahl is completly a biased charachter..and NO ..again NO..because he criticized AY..
Unlike some(I mean you voltage when it comes to MSB aun) AY is not considered a God sent messenger for me and/or for the somalis..but a mere mortal with many mistakes
but the alternatives are worse..just like they were compared to Siad Barre.
