almost everybody I know drinks, it's kinda funny how they are praying next to you oneday and the next drinking like it's caadi, for some strange reason, even the xaliimos couldnt convince to drink when almost all the guys "change" around girls and try to act like badass, wtf.

The biggest regret in life is taking a John Adams bottle handed to me at a club in Durham, NC.

That's what Somalia needs, Alcohol.   just imagine the TFG, Al-Shabaab in a conference with bottles of Cognacs, Vodka and Rum. The final outcome would be promising.

There are social drinkers and then there are alcoholics. Most Somali drinkers belong to the latter group.

..let me guess which group you belong to? 'social drinkers'

..i started this thread because the number of Somali youngstars drinking here in Melbourne is shocking and the drugies and dealers are even more shocking, its at least 60% and nobody can do anything about it

..soon there will be neighbourhoods of Somali junkies that are a no go zone and the saddest part of all? all under the age of 27

Somalis have changed.

Its no longer about surpassing the level of immigrants before you

It is an endless quagmire of putting yourself out of commission to escape your identity

Somalis have changed.

Drunk skinnies carry drunk xalimos and they carry drunk friends of theirs to their demise.

Somalis have changed.

Its no longer a harmless night of fun. It is an endless corruption of the human body to a point people are not recognizable anymore. The debate of "what has happened to us" becomes routine. But, he who controls the flow of the bottles to the people, controls the bottles history.

Somalis have changed.

If this is true, and I dont think its, there must be a reason..cos somalis dhaqan xumo of this kind ma lahayn and still malaha back in somalia..

It could be related to the fact that there is no country to go back to for more 18 yrs, it could be because of the major trauma suffered by most of somalis due to the civil war and still suffering from..because of the on going wars etc etc.
