A Ship Docks at Mogadishu port

Postby Twisted_Logic » Thu Feb 12, 2009 2:36 am

A Ship laden with Weapons and pick-up trucks have docked at the Mogadishu Port. The weapons are meant for the ARS/TFG troops. I hope these weapons are never used within Somalia

I hope so too. I hope Sheikh Sharif, and I pray that he is able to make peace with the other resistance groups within the country.

Somalis have faced enough brutality, I can't even begin to fathom the amount of abuse they've been through. I hope God heals them with the utmost powerful cure he has.

Amin.

I think the chances of war in Xamar is fast fading. Majority of the Ceyr waxgarad, business-people and elders are in Mogadishu pressuring the IndoCade militias to lay down arms and join the ARS. They are led by Sh Ahmed Dahir Aweys

TL, I like Sheikh Sharif a lot, I was his biggest fan in '06. He was a miracle man to me. I loved his background and his rise to power, he was the man of the century as far as I cared. However, he made many mistakes - #1 being exiting the country like sissy Aweys as well as welcoming Indhocadde.

Before I [COMPLETELY] regain my respect for the Sharif, he must go back to his 2006 ways and he must exile Indhocadde, Qeybdiid, Hiiraale, Morgan, and other warlords operating inside Somalia.

For the most part, I love Sharif's peaceful stance, but he's too lenient. Peace is good, but leniency allows bad people to get through the wire and that's not really a good thing.

Somalia's problem has been going on for 20+21 years man. You can solve everything overnight. Any solution will be gradual. Give him some-time.

May Allah Make 2009 a year of Unity iyo Love between Somalis. May he make this government work for Somaliweyn. Last but not least may Somalia never fall apart again amiin.

Just a few minutes ago at my campus library just before they closed I met an American who served in the U.S army in the 90s he was sent to Mogadishu. First thing he said was what a beautiful country, than he talked about how the city was competly destroyed.

Just before he left he said I wonder how it is today? I didn't tell him I was Somali he thought of me just another regular American.

This nightmare of ours must come to an end...and with Allahs help it surely wil.

Everyone says that: "sharif's process is slow, but it will get things done."

I don't know how much I can believe that. I want armies of justice [and PEACE] rolling through Xamar like back in Summer '06. I don't think the Somali people can wait like they did with A/Yusuf's regime and it seems like Sharif's regime is no different than A/Y when it comes to delaying shit...so far.

What happened to Sharif of 2006 who was fixing roads and shit. Is his warlord-filled regime slowing things down? I think he needs Shabaab to cut some heads off.

Our pride and digity need to be restored in 2009. It a shame to be called Somali today and that is the truth.

Shariif is a Sufi

Shabaab are Salafi Jihadi.

Big difference.

They call his gov't Mamuulka Ridada for a reason.
