Did the Bad Economy Touch You

Postby Sagaashan » Fri Feb 13, 2009 11:47 am

The economy is so bad almost every other person i know is unemployed or collecting checks. I even know this neighbor that lost both his two jobs. this is crazy, i never trusted the news but this one is real. If things dont change, the hardest hit areas are going to be entertainment, auto, real estate, banks, etc. the only two places that are currently hiring are government and the healthcare industry.

It definitely touched me even though I am not in the US. Let's hope there will be more carnage, this indecisive administration messes up and unemployment hits at least 20%. Insha Allah it will happen soon.

I dissagree....I think the economy will kick itself into shape in the next two years and some people (like Aerosmith adn I) will realize some real gaines in that timeline....
I understad we are going through an extremely rough patch at the moment...but this isnt much different than the ones of the past....
It will be blimf in the scale...

Of course Ismahan. The more the better for everyone. Saqaashan bro we still have a long way to go. I'd love to see DOW hit at least 6000 before end of March. Citi and BoA get nationalized. California go bankrupt. Kaalaya losing a job is good thing walahi.

I don't know about Al shabab ninyahow. Would love to know how they manage to raise the money they have for fighting. Any insider feed.
