I still don't get why our skinny guys are news sensation while the world is turning a deaf ear to the west coast crisis.

When u have no government to protect your sovereignity, no central authority to try criminals then the world would care because you are easily pushed over.

These guys are not only hijacking ships, they have attempted to capture the presidential compound of Equatorial Guinea not long ago. I really have the feeling these guys are funded by western agents.

I dont know why the media chooses whats news worthy and whats sensational... many reasons we could speculate and some we know I guess...

But any news about Somalia on the media.. no matter how embarrassing is good sometimes .
If nothing it focuses some attention from the governments..if they are not already pushing the media to make it to the headlines..

Somalia is probably more targeted than these pirates because they have no govt. and they are hijacking ships in the worlds most important ship route: the red sea/indian ocean.
Btw, these are the guys who give nigerians the stereotype of scammers.
